Lobotomizing a Creature

“Lobotomized” is an acquired template that can be added to any corporeal creature with a brain (other than an undead), referred to hereafter as the base creature. This operates like the Zombie template, except:

Alignment: Always neutral.

Type: The creature’s type changes to construct. It gains the living construct subtype, and retains all other subtypes. It does not gain the augmented subtype. It uses all the base creature’s statistics and special abilities except as noted here.

Hit Dice: Lobotomized creatures continue to use their Constitution modifiers to determine bonus hit points.

Saves: Base save bonuses are Fort +1/3 HD, Ref +1/3 HD, and Will +1/3 HD.

Defensive Abilities: Lobotomized creatures lose their defensive abilities and gain all of the qualities and immunities granted by the living construct subtype. Lobotomized creatures do not have DR.

Abilities: Str +2, Dex –2. A lobotomized creature has no Int score, its Con becomes 12, and its Wis and Cha become 10.
